All wait with bated breath and bubbling adrenaline for Chevelle’s homecoming concert in the heart of Chicago! This Friday, August 15th, 2025, metalheads will gather to watch Pete and Sam Loeffler split the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom wide open with guests Asking Alexandria and Dead Poet Society.

Four years following NIRATIAS, Chevelle ramps up the hype for their milestone tenth album with its first single, “Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1),” and an extensive Summer Tour featuring 38 North American stops under Live Nation. The album, yet to be named, will be the group’s official debut with new label Alchemy Recordings. But before they jump head-first into their long-awaited next chapter, Chevelle invites avid fans to join them in revisiting cold-blooded classics from two multi-platinum decades past, with a chance of new hits coming your way.

Alternative metal and hard-rock were never the same once our double Dove Award-winning headliners found their foothold on the mainstream with 2002’s Wonder What’s Next, which showcased the genre-defining AA/Rock #1 “Send the Pain Below” and the two-time Platinum “The Red.” These iconic songs, among other Gold records and Billboard chart-toppers, will be your gateway to the adrenaline-pumping trance from where Chevelle howls nu-metal gospel born from Helmet’s riffs and Tool’s vocal dynamics. Take a heavy dose of “Vitamin R (Leading Us Along),” “The Clincher,” “I Get It,” “Jars,” and “Face to the Floor,” as the night spirals further into a euphoric mess of music, mayhem, and madness. 

Now, let’s take a look at our opening acts. Asking Alexandria hails from the British metalcore scene and is over-the-moon excited to raise hell with their favorite Gold-certified hits such as “Into the Fire,” “Moving On,” and “Alone in a Room.” Second is the Dead Poet Society of alt-rock’s “.CoDA.,” “HURT,” and “Running in Circles” renown. This Bostonian band is loud and livid, daring audiences to match their stride with ear-splitting energy. Our venue, one of Chicago’s finest event spaces, imparts a transporting backdrop, one detailed by mosaic tiles, terracotta ceilings, and stunning acoustic production, like a dark fantasy come alive.
