Sloan Struble of the multi-platinum project Dayglow is taking the scenic route through North America before a highly-anticipated arrival at the Windy City on October 24th. On that night, he will captivate the crowd at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom with the phenomenal flavors of his fizzy indie-pop alt-rock bops, fresh off the success of his Malibu home’s latest acoustic offering. Dayglow will headline its self-titled fourth studio album, a vibrant 10-track collection Struble insists “has to be seen live to get the full picture.” Issued under Mercury Records, the LP will send you on a nostalgic trip with its chart-climbing tunes “Cocoon” and “Every Little Thing I Say I Do,” posing a punchy melodic backdrop to your summertime straight from the 2010s alternative music scene. The event will open with a performance from SoCal’s surf-rock quartet, Sun Room. Known for hit singles “Fun” and “Sol Del Sur,” the group will please you with an impressively eclectic soundscape that borrows from 1980s new wave, soul, and even a bit of metal. The historic Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom will also pull all the stops to uplift the experience on its iconic stage, dialing everything up to 11 — from its unique ambiance to its state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems.

Produced by Live Nation, “Dayglow: The Tour” has an ongoing slate of fall shows weaving through big-name venues in the US, Canada, and Mexico. The sprawling 41-date series is also the latest live music breakthrough for the artist, who has made waves in all-star music festivals such as Bonnaroo, Firefly, and Lollapalooza.
